SUPPORTED LIVING (ISL)

Individualized Supported Living (ISL) is a form of residential habitation that allows individuals the opportunity for community living regardless of the challenges the individuals may face.  Emphasis is placed on persons choosing where they reside, whom they reside with and the type of community activities in which they wish to participate.

ISL helps by opening doors for individuals to be as independent as possible with the assurance that there is a safety net.  The safety net includes maintaining a 24-hr response capability and regular contact for each person served.  Support Staff is provided to assist the individual in meeting their own needs-financial, medical, physical safety and community involvement.
